My first birth
changed everything.
Birth work is deeply rooted in Ancestry. I believe your health is wealth - the energy you consume through conversation, oxygen, nutrition, and the time you spend with nature plays a huge part in who you are as a person.
After my first pregnancy during the pandemic, I witnessed firsthand how important support is during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the most crucial time: postpartum. The way you heal your body after birth is central to women's health and determines how your womb heals.
I was blessed to have a homebirth with all hands on deck. I had my midwife, doula, two birth assistants, and a postpartum doula. I gave birth in my living room, walked three feet, and got into my bed with my newborn baby. The feeling was surreal. And it fired up my love for this work forever.
"All women deserve their desired birth, and I want to help them achieve it."
I felt so empowered with all the women in the room supporting and cheering me on.
Pregnancy is sacred.
It is a journey one can never forget. I understand the importance of unconditional support and encouragement during what can feel lonely, emotional, and scary. That experience is what drives every session, every birth plan, and every family I serve.
Let's have a conversation about your pregnancy journey.I've known since I was a little girl;
This was my calling.
I grew up watching women around me go through pregnancy and birth without the support they deserved, and I knew, even then, that I wanted to be the person who changed that for families.

ABC 7 Chicago
I am still in awe at the fact that ABC 7 Chicago invited me to share my story.

I talked about what a doula really does, why my role is completely different from your doctor or midwife, and what it takes to walk this path yourself if you feel called to it.
